The Jr program will be using VEX IQ for content delivery. This course will develop student’s problem solving skills, technical skills, and creativity. Students will work in teams and utilize everyone’s strength to complete the daily activity challenge. Prepare for loads of fun and hands-on building opportunities.
Int Program: This robotics course will focus on solving technical challenges with skills and learning from week one. Advance programming and coding as well as robotic sensors and Inputs will also be covered.
Adv Program: This is an entry-level course for students who always wanted to try robotics but their schools does not have a robotics program. You don’t need to know anything about robotics, just be willing to have fun. You will learn to program and build robots. We will use the VEX-EDR and/or V5 platform.
Students in both Int and Adv programs will be introduced to the concept of Robotics Competition. The VEX-IQ Robotics competition and the VEX Robotics Competition will be introduced. Students will have an opportunity to use their robot to perform Driver Skills Challenges, Programming Skills Challenges and Teamwork Challenges. All this in preparation for the VEX- Summer Games at the end of the camp. Participation at the VEX-Summer Games Vancouver will be included as part of this camp.
